A Taste Of Fall

Nov 2, 2026

Fall is my favorite time of the year. Of course, I say that about every season, but Fall does have a particularly strong case. The colours alone are worth the price of admission!

Mother Nature really goes all out this time of year. She mixes orange with purple, red with gold, yellow with green—and occasionally throws in a colour combination that makes you wonder, “How did she get away with that?” And somehow, it always works.

I love borrowing that same spirit for my art. Fall gives me permission to be a little more adventurous with colour, especially on seasonal designs. You might see warm oranges and deep purples around Snoopy, a little unexpected sparkle and colour surrounding Tinker Bell, or rich autumn shades bringing a surprising amount of personality to the Grim Reaper. Yes, even the Grim Reaper can enjoy a good colour palette. Nobody said Halloween had to be all black!

That’s what I enjoy most about Fall colour. It can be bold, playful, dramatic, and a little unpredictable—all at the same time. The bright leaves, dark shadows, harvest colours, and Halloween hues create a feast for the eyes.

And if Mother Nature can put orange, purple, red, and gold all in the same neighborhood, I figure I can have a little fun with them too!
