Jim's European Tour Round-up

This year saw the return of Jim Shore to the UK and Europe and everyone involved was determined to make sure that this tour went off with a bang!

For over seventeen days Jim travelled across the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, and France, all to be able to meet up with his legions of fans. With nine in-person events, one online event and even a QVC US guest spot thrown in; Jim was kept busy.

Starting in the UK, F Hinds hosted two events in Meadowhall and Merry Hill.

The turn-out was brilliant, lots of collectors were excited to see Jim and he received a wonderfully warm UK welcome to start off the tour.

Whilst in the UK, Jim also took part in a photo shoot and filmed some content for our website which is coming soon — so keep your eyes peeled!

Next up on the tour was an event at Druck Zuck in Werne, Germany.

It was the only stop in Germany this time around, making it even more special for the collectors. The anticipation was palpable as they eagerly awaited Jim’s arrival. This event presented an incredible chance for Jim to reconnect with long-time friends and make new ones too.

The next stop on the tour was the energetic Netherlands!

This country has always been a bustling hub for Jim, and this visit was no different. With a jam-packed schedule of three retailers and four events spanning over five days, there was never a dull moment.

The first event took place at Neverland Shop in Helmond, where both young and seasoned collectors were bursting with anticipation to catch a glimpse of Jim. The event kicked off at a local coffee shop, where Jim had the opportunity to address his eager fans. Following that, the hosts arranged engaging quizzes and games, allowing everyone to showcase their Jim Shore expertise for a chance to win exciting prizes. It was truly a delight to witness so many enthusiasts testing their knowledge and having a blast!

Continuing our journey through the Netherlands, the next two events took place at Haddon Hall.

The organisers had a fantastic plan in store: dedicating one day to Disney Traditions and another to Heartwood Creek. This thoughtful arrangement ensured that collectors could fully immerse themselves in the unique charm of each collection.

But that's not all! The hosts at Haddon Hall went above and beyond to create a lively party atmosphere for all the attendees. Games and quizzes were carefully organised, adding an exciting twist to the events. It was an incredibly special opportunity for longtime collectors to finally meet Jim in person and share in the joyous moments with him. The energy and enthusiasm in the room were palpable, making these days unforgettable for everyone involved.

Wrapping up our incredible journey through the Netherlands, we had the privilege of attending the final event at Magical Gifts in Dordrecht. And let me tell you, this team did not hold back! They went above and beyond to create a truly magical experience for everyone in attendance.

As if an event with Jim Shore wasn't exciting enough, the organisers took things to the next level. Picture this: Jim arriving in style, making a grand entrance via boat! Excitement was in the air as the crowd eagerly awaited his arrival.

But the surprises didn't end there!

The team at Magical Gifts treated the attendees to enchanting performances by none other than Joke de Kruijf, a distinguished musical theatre performer renowned for her Dutch voiceovers on Disney productions, and the talented singer Francesco Daniel. Together, they serenaded the crowd with classic Disney songs, adding an extra touch of enchantment to the event.

And now, we enter the exciting final leg of Jim's journey.

The next stop on the tour was in charming Belgium, where Dnexus hosted a delightful event for collectors. The hosts had thoughtfully prepared Jim Shore themed goodie bags, ensuring that every attendee felt appreciated and cherished. But that's not all — they took the festivities to the next level.

From engaging activities like raffles, bingo, wheel of fortune, and shuffleboard, there was no shortage of fun and entertainment.
