New Disney Traditions by Jim Shore figurines for you to enjoy
Roll up, roll up! Did you hear the news? Calling all fans of Disney Traditions by Jim Shore, because do we have something exciting for you! Hot off the press, we’re really pleased to let you know that Jim has unveiled even more new pieces, capturing the magic of Disney, storytelling and quirky character presentations in wonderful ways we just know you’re going to love!
We’re loving these brand-new Disney Princess figurines made from new and exciting materials that bring to life your best-loved characters like you’ve never seen before! First up we have everyone’s favourite warrior princess, Mulan, in a piece called Mulan with Clear Resin Cherry Blossom. Mulan can be seen sitting on a lush green base wearing her traditional Chinese outfit, that is synonymous with the scene in the action-packed movie where she is taken to see the matchmaker and bring honour to her family. Behind Mulan is a beautiful over-sized cherry blossom flower presented in pretty shades of soft blushes and pinks. As this special feature is made from clear resin, the flower is denser in areas that others, which allows the light to flow gently through the petals creating a lovely dimension to the piece.
Next up we have Belle from Disney’s smash-hit Beauty and the Beast. Like Mulan and her Cherry Blossom, Belle is presented sitting next to the flower that is central to the plot of the movie – the enchanted rose. Given to Beast by the Enchantress as she cast her curse, the spell would only be broken if he learned to love another, by the time the last petal of the rose falls. Presented in her blue villager outfit complete with her little white pinafore, Belle with Clear Resin Rose sees Belle looking at a small red rose in her hand, while the over-sized red resin rose glimmers in the background of the piece.
Lastly in this exciting sub-collection of new resin accent pieces is Ariel with Clear Resin Shell. Sitting with her tail creating a lovely curved shape on the base of this piece, Ariel’s red her is flowing around her shoulders as if ‘Under the Sea’, with a sweet little shell held aloft in the palm of her hand. Behind her is a large clear resin clam shell, framing the scene in a way that is iconic to key moments of the 1989 film, The Little Mermaid.
Enjoying a trip through the memoirs of the Disney renaissance period with all of these brand-new Disney Traditions by Jim Shore figurines? Well then, you’re going to want to take a look at this! Aladdin is a firm-family favourite, as the street rat turned prince (thanks to the help the Genie, of course) battles the evil Royal Vizier of Agrabah, Jafar, to win the hand of the Sultan’s daughter, Princess Jasmine. In this new figurine from Jim Shore, named Aladdin and Jafar Good vs Evil – Disney Traditions by Jim Shore, Aladdin is presented in his commoner clothing, with big white blooming pants, his little purple waist cot and red hat. With legs outstretched and hands on his hips bearing his chest, Aladdin is presented with a strikingly confident pose, while Jafar lurks in the background as he clutches onto his enchanted snake-staff with a menacing glare across his face. For fans of Jafar, you’re in for a treat. Because he doesn’t appear in just one, but two brand-new Disney Traditions by Jim Shore figurines. Keep reading…
